What is voki?
Voki is an easy to use character creator that allows users to create their own avatar and audio. The website guides you through the step-by-step process for creating talking characters.
How can you use it?
- present research/information

- re-enact happenings in history

- announcements/directions for assignments
How to get started:
- Sign up a voki.com
- Create an account and login
- Select the "My Voki" tab on the homepage
- Click "Create New Voki"
- You will be prompted to customize the look of your avatar
- Finish your Voki by adding audio via text or recording your own voice

Voki customization options
Click the buttons under "Customize your Character" to change the appearance of your Voki.
"Give it A Voice" buttons are where you add your text/recordings
Make sure to "Publish" your Voki by clicking the button on the bottom right.

Several Ways to share
- Select the appropriate size of the Voki before sharing.
- Use the quick share buttons to post to a blog or social media account.
- Copy the permalink to send Voki through email.
- Copy and paste the embed code to add it to a webpage.

- Create your Voki complete with audio.
- Make it accessible to students (via Google Classroom, QR code, SMARTBoard, etc.)
- Integrate your Voki into a lesson.
- Send the link of your Voki to Robin Snider.
